Finally done with this! I did a dress design based on Phoenix's costume - I imagine in real life the phoenix logo on her chest will be embroidered in beads, as do the gold details on her sleeve.
This kinda took me forever. I'm terrible with backgrounds - I tend to make them very cluttered, so it took quite a while to clean everything up so she will be the focus of the artwork.
So! Jean Grey is coming back to the comics again, eh?
EDIT: Fixed the birds and got rid of some of the stars.
