... or rather, A fridge. My fridge. At home. Technically the family fridge but since we all use it I guess I have part ownership of the thing.

Anyways the fridge always seems to be full of junk. Not the kind where you open it at midnight when the desire to snack on something comes over you and you go 'aha! this looks nommable'. It's more like the kind where you open it and go 'eugh. There's nothing to eat in here' and yet it's full. I clean it out every week and yet it managed to accumulate more mystery matters throughout the week and by weekend it's full of stuff in polystyrene clamshells that nobody seems to want to eat.

This is really dumb entry. I'll try to write something intelligent next time.

I have an artwork to produce but somehow all prelim sketches and subsequent colour pieces that comes after it comes out looking like crap! I think I have artist block and it is totally not cool. What do you guys usually do when this happens?

Currently having a few card gigs lined up: Captain America, Vampirella, Dungeon Dolls and a Lady Death pin-up to complete. So much to do so little time! And I want so badly to draw some silly comics but I seemed to have lost the mojo for that in the light of so many impending deadlines. One thing at a time, one thing at a time, else I think I'll really go crazy.

The LJ charity auction for Japan has ended, and the winning bid for my art is USD80. Which is pretty cool, and uber generous of the guy who made the final bid. He has since donated it to Japan Red Cross Society, and I'll be working on his artwork once he decided what he wants to have drawn

I've taken to watching Malcolm in The Middle while working. I've always caught bits and pieces of it back in uni and internship years, and now watching it in its entirety makes me realize how utterly dysfunctional and yet how terribly awesome it is really is.

I'm slowly getting that burnout feeling again - which can only be remedied by working on other art that's not the art required currently for work (does that make sense???) - it's weird but it helps. So I may be opening up either commission slots, or offering random artwork here for sale I guess XD

I'd been spending the last days of 2010 planning so I can keep busy into the year 2011 and so far.. well, I've been busy XD I've been trying to get my little brother to be my assistant but he said: well how much are you going to pay me? The little cheek! Having me as a big sister is payment enough, don't you think so? XD

Anyways I've been watching this really neat Canadian TV show called 'Being Erica' while working. I just picked it up recently on a whim, and it did not disappoint. It's about a girl named Erica who basically has the option to go back into time and 'fix' any of her regrets in life. Of course things don't always go to plan and the that's where the interesting things come about. Love the main actress, love the premise of the story and love how unpretentious and uplifting it really is. Basically in a nutshell: I LOVE IT!!

Hope you all are having a good year so far! And now I must get back to work
