Felt like colouring a sketch of Toph I did at work recently. I had a hard time doing the layout for this - I couldn't decide where the earth nation emblem should be - middle? left? right? Too much empty spaces? That kind of trivial questions. I just hope her pose comes out ok (I'm kinda bad with anatomy and perspective in general T___T)
And Glass Onion from the Beatles Anthology is so distracting (because it's funny!) so that's not helping much XD
edit: Didn't quite like the flying rocks thingy on the right side of the pic... but the space was empty and I didn't know what to doooo~ *brainfarts*

great piece, I like the composition quite a lot actually, and how the background fades and the jagged pieces of earth come forward. I also like the placement of the earth kingdom symbol in the piece, it adds feel to the piece without taking from Toph or her bending. I had intially though the hands were off, but then I tried her pose in my office (thankfully none of my co-workers walked by) and the pose works for me.
wow, thanks for actually taking the time to test out the pose! XD I did the same thing in the office, but then again testing out poses and catching some of the other artist in mid-pose doing something weird is kinda common at my workplace haha. I'm glad you like this artwork! Thanks again!
